on behalf of the management team at the London Ceasar's Palace please allow me to congratulate you on your re-election as president and syndicat! My sources have confirmed that the results were clean and decisive and that no corruption was detected in the election process. I would like to wish you all the best with the difficult tasks that lie ahead of you both for the 2007 poker season.

I would just like to highlight to you that the London Ceasar's Palace had it's inaugural game last shabbes evening- 19th Jan 2007. Given that the aim of the Ceasar's Palace is to become an official PPG-franchise, we had a special PPG-guest joining our opening night: the honorable Mr James Szustak (who by the way went ALL-IN with not even a pair, but the bluff was quickly detected by Dr Dimoza, hats off to James for this very bold move).

Anyway, the opening evening was a big success. The only problem was of course, always the same, that good old shmieseray. It was very present as for some players it was their first Texas Hold'em game, which as you can imagine, involved an incredible amount of shmiesen because of the need to re-explain the rules at every round. That said, we were very lucky to have James assuming the role of the keeper of the rules. For any more information about the opening evening please refer to Mr James.

I look forward to discuss a possible acquisition of a PPG -franchise for my London Ceasar's Palace with both of you.

Dear Shmieser Friends,

Our mutual enemy has once again hit the heart of our Palace Poker Group, this time very hard. How long are we supposed to endure this pain? How long could we still survive this terrifying situation? For the first time of my Presidency I feel I’ve disappointed you all. By letting the Shmies grows progressively week after week without reacting consequently until reaching inhuman proportions, I must face the truth and admit I failed. When looking back at the events, I should have adopted a zero tolerance policy from the very beginning: no shmieserai whatsoever allowed after the legal shmiestime, otherwise two weeks exclusion from the PPG. Now I’m afraid it’s too late…

I’m considering therefore resigning from the function of President and letting a more qualified person lead the PPG ship. A press release will be posted very soon on the Blogger.

history of the conciergerie

Dear Mr. Kenoza, and miss kenissity,

due to archive problems during World WarII, I have recently discovered that all our contracts at Rue de Laeken 93a, were distroyed by the German's(oooh these bloody German's!!!).
My great-great-grand father, who was the first concierge at the palace(and bye the way lived in the cave of this building) was born in 1857, in Poland. We are considering that he and his family moved from Poland to Belgium because they heard about an extraordinary opportunity to become the first conciergerie in human history ...
In their move to Belgium all the family changed their mind and went back to Poland, because they saw the Belgian people and weren't so attracted to this people. The only persevering man who continued his way to the nowadays well known Amicam Palace was my great-great-grand father. He arrived in Belgium at the Rue de Laeken on December 1862. And shortly after, the next month in January 1863 he received the title of concierge...
You can discover the greatness of this man who already was a concierge at 6 years of age!

That's for the little history, and I understand these 3 dates are a bit confusing for you...now I hope you got your answers to your questions!!!

these are the official rules for raising blinds i found on most casinos

I have to to be honest, at some tounaments it's the Directors choice to speed up/slow down the tournament, by raising the blinds/speeding times (5 minutes in stead of 10).

!!! Limits will be raised until a winner has been declared.!!!

So we have to find a compromise.
I did think about it, and by reading some rules i came to the conclusion that, if we play a tournament with more than 10 people, it will always take at least 2-3 hours ! for ONE game.

So if our purpose is to play 2 games, like we did till now...

I have the following proposal :

8 playes and less 1500 chips
8 to 10 players 1000 chips
10 + players 500 chips

if we keep the raising schedule we use (5/10 10/20 20/30 40/80 50/100 75/150 etc) and raise every 10 minutes..then after 3 hours we are at 2000/4000 !after three hours...

and we keep the official rules. raising blinds till the end!

Like this we COULD play 2 tournaments in one night!

Vous voulez les vraies regles , alors voila :

j'ai pris au hasard une table finale du WPT. Si vous faites le calculs , le big blind est entre 0.5 et 1.5 % du total des chips :

image : 6.285.000 = chip count total ; big blind 60.000 . C'est meme pas 1 % !!!!

Chez nous , une partie à 12 (avec chacun 1500 jetons , donc au total 18.000) on joue avec des big blinds de 800 (800/18000 = 4.5%)

Donc du n'importe quoi !!!! Nos blinds sont 5 fois trop élevés !!

On devrait donc jouer plus ou moins 1% des 18000 = 180 max big blinds !! Et oui , c peu mais au moins on assistera a une vrai partie de poker

Tonight big partoche @ the Amicam Palace

Dear All,

The Conciergerie (since 1862) and myself are glad to welcome you tonight for a great partoche at the well-known Amicam Palace. Doors open at 20pm. First tournament at 20h30!. Please confirm your presence. Depending upon the number of participants, we'll need some extra chairs. Someone else has also to take care of the buffet, cause last time it was the concierge who paid the delicious sandwiches from "au suisse". Also not JaX and CriCri, because they paid for the food at the Magic Palace.

New rule:
1) Sit out: a player who is not at the table when it's his turn to speak is considered as sitting out and therefore folding. Too bad if you're the small or big blind. An advice: go make kaka before the tournament.

There is a new rule for 2007

I Guess you all understand that a game with 13 people cannot be valued the same way as with 6 people. Therefore, after having long discusssions with our President and our R&D department, a new rule has been implemented:

a game between 6 to 9 players

1st place : 3 points
2nd place : 2 points
3rd place: 1 point

a game between 10 to 14 players

1st place: 4.5 points
2nd place: 3 points
3rd place : 1.5 points

a game with 15 players or more

1st place: 6 points
2nd place: 4 points
3rd place: 2 points


Besides that, here are the results for the Mandalay B (branch of the Luxor Casino) played sunday the 7th of january:

concerne la compétition "player of the month" lorsque il y a deux tournois dans la même soirée.

Les personnes qui quittent le premier tournoi trop tard pour joindre le deuxième tournoi ne sont t'elles pas désavantagées par rapport à celles qui sont sortis suffisament tôt du premier pour participer au second?

exemple (partie de Jeudi 4/01) :
le 5émé du premier tournoi a le droit de participer au deuxième tournoi alors que le quatrième du premier tournoi n'a pas le droit d'y accéder. (manque de temps)
Le quatrième du premier tournoi finira sa soirée avec 0 point alors que le 5eme du premier tournoi pourra quant à lui, potentiellement gagner des points.

Qu'en pensez vous?

Chers camarades du jeu,

C’est avec énorme regret que je poste ce message, je ne croyais jamais en arriver la au sein du PPG. J'espère que la direction en tirera ses conclusions et passera au plus vite à l'action!!!

Après avoir été victime d'un coup bas à ma table (on a voulu me sortir de la partie quand il y avait un Split pot sur table, j'étais en all in contre le Doubi), je me dois de faire une demande général.
La demande est la suivante: vu que le PPG n'est pas encore mur après 6 mois de jeux de voir qui remporte une main ou si'il y a objet de Split pot, je voudrais demander d'annuler les tournois d'hier vu que probablement plusieurs coups n'ont pas été enregistrés comme il fallait...si cela se trouve les 3 vainqueurs d'hier étaient déjà éliminés après 1 heure de jeu.

Dans le cas ou ma demande ne serait pas accepté, je voudrais quand même qu'elle soit prise en considération et qu'une nouvelle règle soit instauré: l'AMENDE!!!

L'amende se verra donner au dealer de la partie qui n'a pas su gérer le pot et/ou la donne et/ou les vainqueurs/perdants de la partie!
Une somme de 25 chips devra être mise par le dealer dans le pot général sur le coup suivant (pour un tournoi qui commence a 1500 chips).Je crois que cela ne fera de mal à personne, au contraire il obligera le dealer à se concentrer un minimum sur ce qui se passe à sa table!

J'attends vivement vos réactions,...
Sachez aussi que la conciergerie à déclaré une journée de deuil ce vendredi 5 Janvier pour ce qui c'est passé hier!
Une minute de silence sera tenue à 16h pétante, soyez gentil de vous levez de votre chaise à ce moment la, merci

I am writing to congratulate you on your success with developing the impressive PPG franchise over the last few months. Your reputation as a clean and uncorruptible manager of the jewish poker room has been echoed even in the international city of London, UK. But enough of this flattery, let's talk TACHLES: through my business contacts with the manager of the Venetian, the honorable Syrian, I have learned that you are organising a poker tournament in LV. You must know that the poker fever that has developed in Antwerp and Brussels has not yet reached London, although there seem to be some first signs of contagion/infection developing (as witnessed by the sudden urgent need, by some people whose names I cannot disclose, to wake up in the middle of the night for a quick-n-dirty 1 on 1action on www.BeginnersTexasHoldemPoker.com ).

Therefore, I would feel honoured if you would extend me an invitation for the LV tournament as I am very keen to build up some more experience and look forward to play cards with some of the most talented pokermogulls in the world (it would for instance be an honour to exchange a few bluffs with Mr Kenoza, your player of the year). This experience would also help me in my venture to establish a PPG equivalent in the UK with the upcoming opening of the Ceasars Palace on Eton Avenue (scheduled for March07).

I have previously attended one of the inaugural pokergames of PPG back in September and was impressed by the emphasis on neshama and yiddishkeit during that game. Sure, the keeper of the rules had an unsettling impact on some occasions, but one has to admit: the rules are the rules. Let me also reassure you that I am not the type that will engage in a dirty shmies in between flop and rivers.

I would appreciate if you could forward this message to your forum for other members to approve my presence at LV. Looking forward to play some serious all-ins.

Sunday 7/1/07 the casino will reopen his doors for the first time in 2007,the belle partoshe will only take place if a minimum of 6 ppg players are inscripted.

First 2007 Tournament

Dear PPG members,

If you like, The Magic Palace will be exceptionally open this Thursday to welcome you.
The President himself, told me in person today, during a crisis meeting, that the Magic Palace "TABLE" is the best he has ever seen.

Knowing that the mentioned table is not yet at it's maximum potential, it feels quite good.

Anyway, enough "smiescherei", The table in question will be ready at 20.30 to welcome you for the first 2007 PPG tourney. (doors open at 20.00)
